Braxton starts his new daycare on Thursday!! Licensed Finally!!
We have a lot of work ahead of us with Occupational therapy, speech therapy, behaviour intervention, and then just getting used to the new surroundings and people. I'm crossing my fingers for Braxton. I'm soo nervous about how he will do with this transition. All I can do is try to make the transition as comfortable as I can for him, either way I have to face the fact that it's not going to be easy no matter what we do.
With Thursday being his first day we are going in to visit on Tuesday and Wednesday. Hopefully he will get a chance to spend some time with his new teacher. I'm going to be taking photos of his teacher and his classroom so everyday that he has to go to daycare I will show him the photo and tell him what is going to be happening for the day. Once he's at daycare the teacher is going to be given pictures to be using with Braxton to show him what will be happening next in their day. I'm hoping this will help. As well he will be getting an assistant to come into the classroom and give the teachers idea's on how to help Braxton thrive.
