9 Hours till the move!

10:45p.m. and I thought I would post a quick reply to let everyone know that the move is tomorrow. We got the keys today and were in cleaning like crazy!!
We start early tomorrow about 8a.m.
So all is well, and We may be offline for a short period as I'm not sure if we are going to be able to afford the internet costs while I'm out of work. So until I enter the world of the employed again... Farewell. I'll try to post when I have a chance. Mike n' Anita and Sandra and Wendy are the only ones I know that have HighSpeed so I'll try to keep in touch when I'm at there houses.

2 more days till the move!

Well we've had a scare or two along the way this week. Our lawyer recieved a letter a while back stating that we were using another lawyer. And the bank wanted three months back of bank statements. Which sounds easy enough but unfortunately wasn't. They also wanted a letter from Chris's previous employer. That was easier to get than we thought. All these things had to couriered out Monday night so things would hopefully get there before Wednesday. We actually haven't heard from the bank or our mortgage broker so we are assuming that all is a go.
Everything is worked out with our lawyer and we have an appointment today to sign the papers, hand over some cash and I'm not sure how things work but hopefully get the key??!!
So tomorrow we should be able to officially go in and get to work!
Packing is unbelievable! There is soo much stuff and trying to take care of Braxton at the same time is a challenge. Yesterday I gave him crayons and he decorated all the boxes, he had fun climbing in and out of the lower kitchen cupboard! (now that mommy's taken the locks off and empty the contents.)
I've picked my colours for the kitchen and Braxton's room as I'm painting on Sunday,Monday,Tuesday I hope.

So wish us luck and we will be sure to have a house warming party! Your Invited!!

Only 9 more days till We MOVE

I'm on this never ending battle with my weight ever since I had Braxton. I've started a new regimen and hoping that this time I stay with it and keep the weight off.
Not willing to disclose to all how much I weigh exactly but lets just say it's alot!
I'm hoping to lose 10 lbs by November 1st. That's my current goal.
Braxton is doing soo amazing with his words these days. We are really working on simple sentences and trying to get him to repeat the important words.
He now says, Ready Set Go, Bye! see you soon, Banana, Oh No, No, Uh oh, Hi, Dad, Juice, ouch, Yuck, Stuck, ChooChoo, Shoes... now not everything is clear as a bell but it's pretty obvious. He also uses everything in context. At my Mom's on the weekend he said, Bye, shee yas shoon! (about 50 times) Banana sounds like nanana, Juice = jucse, Stuck= Stowe(don't ask)
Still working on Mom,mama, ma, anything would be nice!!
Chris is busy working his little buns off. He does washing of the OMNI machinary every other weekend which takes him anywhere from 4-6 hours on sunday usually. Every other week he's on call with the tow truck, and then he works his usual shift mostly coming home late from working overtime. So far he seems to be loving his job, were counting the days till he can go and try for his license so he can get a raise!
I am soo proud of him sticking with his career. It hasn't been an easy road for us. But I'm seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.
Well Friday is my last day running Lanark Home Daycare. I'm a little scared a little excited. Lots of new ventures await. I'm still not sure what I'm going to be doing when we move but I hope God points me in the right direction. I'm thinking either continuing home daycare if I can find any children in the area, or getting back into Daycare or possibly taking a new direction and going back to hairdressing. Not sure Not sure...

Oh Guess who won a trip for two to West Virginia to see Toby Keith live??

23 days till We Move Into Our New Home!!

Ahh, September already!
Well Chris and I have started packing, We've gone through all the storage and either tossed what we don't want or better sorted totes and boxes. Our 5th Anniversary has come and gone, I think we'll celebrate this weekend. Our Anniversary/Labour Day weekend was spent working! So Friday night I'll take my hunny to a movie I think. Just need to find a sitter. Saturday we're babysitting Baylei, so I'm not sure how much we'll get done on Saturday.
My Daycare is slowly dwindeling away, I have two kids left. My (now) 11m old, and my 15m old. My last day of work is going to be September 22nd, then I'll have the rest of the week to pack things up and get organized. I'm starting to put out resumes and hope I'll be able to find work in Smiths Falls. I'm not sure if I want to continue daycare at this time, when we move I'll see what the childcare situation is like in the area. So who knows.
