It's BEEN TOO long!

Wow!! It's been soo long since I've updated my blog that I almost forget how to do it.

So we are expecting our new addition to the family anywhere between April 25th and May 7th.
I'm hoping sooner than later. Our ultrasound on Dec 10th confirmed my suspicions of having a girl!! I'm very excited and happy! I think I've always wanted to be a Mom but to have a baby girl of my own has been almost a dream I thought would never come true.

Braxton is in school every other day at Lombardy Public School, he's "A group" and he goes Monday, Wednesday and Alternate Fridays! We were able to get him assistance in the classroom which he truly needed. His EA teacher's name is Mich and his classroom teacher is Mrs. James. He still has speech with Leslie about once a month.
He has made a great little friend in a girl his age named Meredith! She is absolutely adorable and so sweet with Braxton, she is helping him interact with the other children in his class and also helps him to communicate with them. His speech is still slow and he speaks jibberish, but not as often and we are able to understand him about 80% of the time now.
We started off the school year driving him to school and then picking him up. In January we started sending him home on the school bus!! He loves the bus! I think it was harder for me to put him on it than it was for him to go on it.

Finances are rediculously tight since Chris lost his job the end of January. He is working part time at the grocery store nights stocking shelves until he can find something automotive to do. I was having some issues with my scheduling at work and then before Christmas I was told that I have placenta praevia so I quit my job and am patiently waiting for either EI to kick in or Maternity leave.

All in all life has it's ways of working out and I know this, but just need to remind myself of it fairly often.
